Oklahoma City Crews Prepare Roads For Second Day Of Winter Storm

After snowfall stopped on Thursday, Oklahoma City crews are preparing to treat roads and plow snow ahead of anticipated snowfall on Friday.

Crews are asking drivers who plan to be out on the roads to drive carefully and avoid unnecessary travel if possible.

"Give yourself lots of time, slow down, please give our trucks lots of room to work with," Oklahoma City Street Superintendent Chris Daniels said. "Our crews are out there working hard. They'll be working 24/7 until we get these emergency snow routes clear.
