2 Dead in Woodward crash

Two people from Oklahoma City are dead following a crash in Woodward County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

OHP says the crash happened about one mile west of Mooreland after noon Sunday.

According to OHP, a car was traveling south when it failed to yield to an eastbound Freightliner semi on US-412.

OHP says both people in the car were pronounced dead on the scene; the driver of the semi was not injured.

OHP has not released the identity of the two people killed in the crash.
