Authorities respond to grass fire along railroad tracks near N Post Rd.

Authorities responded to multiple grass fires along railroad tracks near North Post Road Wednesday afternoon.

The Midwest City Fire Department says the first fire started near Northeast 23rd Street and Post Road.

The Nicoma Park, Del City and Oklahoma City Fire Departments were all called for assistance with this fire, according to MWCFD.

Authorities say there were about seven fires, and they are believed to have been started by a rail car.
