As the city begins to open back up, parents are now struggling to find activities for the kids this summer. One option is the Oklahoma Hall of Fame.
“So here at the Oklahoma (Hall of) Fame, we have lots of kids programming. We work hard to assure we are creating unique opportunities for our community members," said Emma Leach, of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame.
Not only will kids learn about Oklahomans, they will also get to participate in activities like story time, crafts, and outdoor activities.
They have a big family event planned for Saturday, April 10; the Oklahoma Hall of Fame's spring activity walk.
“We’ll be hosting activities all around the grounds of our museum. It is an outdoor activity walk and so families can register and participate. Registration is not required but it is encouraged to make sure we can maintain social distancing and a safe environment for everybody," Leach said.
Families and groups will get to come out and create giant bubbles and participate in activities as well as hear the stories of Oklahoma.
The museum has family activities planned for the entire summer and they are both live and virtual.
At all events, social distancing is enforced and mask are required.
