A new fitness studio inspired by Oklahoma's weather is giving visitors a chance to experience a unique approach to workouts.
With workouts that change as frequently as the forecast, guests at Fit Report in Chisholm Creek can always expect something new each time they visit.
On the Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Porch, the News 9 team is learning more about the seasonaly-themed exercises.
"We are based off of the dynamic weather in Oklahoma," Fit Report co-founder Brooke Bogert said. "Our slogan is 'fitness in all seasons,' so not just spring, summer, winter, and fall, but also every season of life."
With different training classes inspired by weather events, Fit Report's founders say there is always something for everyone.
"We like to have a fitness forecast, which means that you can come to a bunch of different classes," Fit Report co-founder Kara Brookman said. "Just like the weather, you never know what's going to happen; you can come to a class like 'Rain, Hail, Shine,' and that will be a sprinkled mix of everything. 'Thunderstorm' is a little bit more of our thunder thighs or our strength day, and 'Heat Wave,' obviously, we're going to get the heart rate out, we're going to get the sweat pouring down."
Both Bogert and Brookman say visitors have reported great workouts at Fit Report, and the pair hope to continue to receive positive feedback.
"Because this is so unique, we are so lucky that we are surrounded by such a wonderful, positive, and vibrant community, and that's also what we're about," Brookman said. "It's not just about the workout that you do, but it's the people you do it with."
