Metro Technology Centers will host the event "In Living Color" in honor of Black History Month, which will celebrate Black history, culture, and the accomplishments of African Americans through art and community.

What to expect

Attendees can expect live performances from Metro Tech students, spoken word presentations, and a fashion show designed by a Metro Tech instructor.

The event will also feature Black-owned vendors and food trucks, including Metro Tech Café, which supports the school’s culinary arts department.

How much does it cost?

In Living Color is free and open to the public, offering an opportunity to learn about Metro Tech and its career training programs. Metro Tech students are actively involved in event preparations, with an entrepreneurship class creating and selling apparel for the occasion.

The event will take place Thursday, Feb. 27, at the Metro Tech Conference Center, 1900 Springlake Drive, in Oklahoma City. More details can be found on Metro Technology Centers' official website.
